Lendy is operated by a company that complies with applicable requirements for Digital Credit Providers in Ghana and operates in accordance with regulations issued by the Bank of Ghana (BoG) and complies with:

● Google Play Store Financial Services Policy
To apply for a Lendy Loan, you must meet the following criteria:
a. Be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts
b. Be a resident of Ghana with a valid identification document
c. Have an active mobile wallet account
d. Pass Lendy's credit assessment
Lendy Loans must not be used for illegal activities, including but not limited to gambling, fraud, or money laundering.
You may use the loan for legitimate purposes, such as:
a. Emergency expenses (e.g., medical bills, urgent repairs)
b. Business growth (e.g., inventory or equipment purchase)
c. Personal expenses (e.g., education, household needs)
To apply for a Lendy Loan:
a. Download the Lendy Loan App from the Google Play Store
b. Register and complete identity verification using accurate information
c. Submit a loan application for credit assessment
d. Upon approval, the loan will be disbursed directly to your mobile wallet
Loan approval usually takes a few minutes, depending on the completeness of your information and the credit assessment results.
You can track your loan status directly in the App.
Loan fees vary based on:
● Your credit score
● Loan amount
● Repayment term
All fees, including interest and any applicable charges, are clearly displayed in the App before confirmation, with no hidden fees. Lendy does not charge any upfront fees before loan disbursement.
Credit Limit:
● Initial limits range from GHS 300 to GHS 5,000
● Determined by your credit score, repayment history, and income profile
Credit Limit Increase:
● Timely repayments and good credit behavior may increase your limit over time
Repayment is made via your mobile wallet, following the instructions provided in the App.

If a repayment fails (e.g., insufficient wallet balance):

Yes. You may make full or partial early repayments at any time without additional charges.
The minimum early repayment amount is shown in the App.
Late repayment may result in the following consequences:
a. Late Fees charged at a fixed rate shown in the App
b. Credit Bureau Reporting after 7 days of default, which may affect your credit score
c. Collection Actions, including engagement of third-party collection agencies
Please repay on time to maintain a good credit record.
To restore your credit eligibility:
a. Clear all overdue loans and fees as soon as possible
b. Make timely repayments on future loans to rebuild your credit profile
Common reasons include:
a. Incomplete or inaccurate information provided
b. Failure to pass credit assessment (e.g., low credit score or past defaults)
c. Not meeting eligibility requirements (age, residency, wallet status)
Yes. Lendy complies with the Ghana Data Protection Act (2012) and protects your data by:
a. Using industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS)
b. Restricting data access to authorized personnel only
c. Conducting regular security audits
Under the Ghana Data Protection Act, you have the right to:
